I DJed an MJ tribute set last night at Sydney's Ivy between 5-8pm, and then another at Cohi Bar between midnight and 2.30am. Very sad day.

Bryn, I figured you'd be honoring him in some way. That's very special indeed. So sad. I thought about whether to post something or what to say, and I figured that a small sentiment and a vid of "Ben" would be the best I could do. "Ben" is one of my favorite songs. Sad day for sure. I bet your tributes were wonderful.

I'll be honest, I'm not sure if it's from The Prophet or not. I looked up the section on Death and Mourning in The Prophet, and it doesn't appear there.

Kahlil Gibran was a genius who had the most perfect words to fit every emotion and occasion. I turn to him whenever I struggle to find my own words. One of my favorite sections from The Prophet is On Beauty:

"Where shall you seek beauty, and how shall you find her unless she herself be your way and your guide?
And how shall you speak of her except she be the weaver of your speech?" Etc etc.
