I KNEW IT! Shenanigans with the American Idol Votes

I just knew there was something stinky about the way things went down on American Idol. My conspiracy theorist mind went immediately into overdrive as I heard the news that Adam Lambert did NOT win American Idol.

Now, my suspicions may have been confirmed. A-holes!

Apparently, the buttwads at AT&T dropped by a few viewing parties for Kris Allen, and instructed his fans on how to use a "power text" feature when voting. This enables the voter to send up to 10 texts at once, making the voting power of a single person substantially more effective. This is not the stuff of my tinfoil hat wearing fantasy. The New York Times actually broke the story, and AT&T confirmed the info! Whaaaaa?!?!?!



There is now speculation as to why this was allowed to happen. Innocent mistake? Something more? Some are even saying that American Idol producers were not prepared to have such a flamboyant (read: G-A-Y) winner on their family friendly show. Stupid, but not beyond belief.

You know what? It doesn't matter. Adam Lambert is going to be taking the world by storm. He already is rumored to be in talks to be the new front man for Queen! After he performed with the band on the finale show, it is little wonder why they are interested. You go, baby!

See the performance here. It would have been so much better if Adam was alone...but you can clearly see who the better performer is. Deal with it!!!



And just for Gene, here is Adam with KISS. Not the best quality upload, but it will do. Love the outfit. Love the swagger. Damn, boy!



His voice makes me feel all gooey inside.

We'll revisit this in 1 year's time, and see who the real star is!
