Conservatives get Joe the Plumber all Hot and Bothered
March 20th 2009 20:13
First, did anyone else realize Joe the Plumber was still...a thing? I guess so. Apparently, he makes appearances at big Republican get togethers, and they just love him to bits.
Well, that is until he loved them back just a wee bit too much.
Joe the Plumber, who is neither a plumber nor a Joe, told a crowd of rapt conservatives Thursday night, "God, all this love and everything in the room -- I'm horny."
And then, of course there were crickets. Sorry, Joe. They like you, just not like that. Immediately after making that statement, the crowd cooled. Among the neo-conservative dignitaries in the crowd were G. Gordon Liddy and talk show host Mark "the great one" Levin. Word has it that they weren't impressed.
Quick! Someone send Joe a copy of "He's just not that into you."
The awkward moment was captured for all time on video.
