SNL Knocks it Out of the Park with Sarah Palin Skit

Like many others, the first time I saw Sarah Palin, I noticed her uncanny resemblance to SNL alum Tina Fey. When I heard that Tina would be hosting the season premiere of SNL, I instantly knew we would be in for a treat. And I was NOT disappointed!
The season premiere of SNL opened with a skit featuring a bipartisan press conference with Gov. Sarah Palin (Tina Fey) and Sen. Hillary Clinton (Amy Poehler) . As you can imagine, it was hysterical! Fey's impression was spot on! Better than I could have imagined. She nailed the voice, the Midwestern accent (I did not know that Alaskans sounded like Minnesotans until I heard Palin!) and the mannerisms. Poehler was equally brilliant as an exasperated Clinton reeling from the comparisons of Palin and herself.
